Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahhi wa barakatu,
Welcome to Woodstock Girls’ School.
Woodstock Girls’ School has recently undergone major restructuring of the Governing body, senior leadership team and staff.
Alhamdulillah, it has been a privilege, an honour and a humbling experience for me to lead, from the position of Chair of Governors, these exciting changes which are raising academic standards and moral and spiritual expectations for all our students whilst simultaneously aiming to convert this once dilapidated building into a centre of excellence and a focal point for the whole community.
The Governing Body consists of highly dedicated volunteers from various backgrounds who are united in developing Woodstock Girls’ School into an outstanding school academically as well as spiritually and morally.
As per the guidance of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam, our aim as governors of the school is to ensure that every child who joins the Woodstock Girls’ School family departs as a success; individually and as members of the community and society at large.
We want all our students to be happy and safe. We want them to be challenged and inspired. We want our pupils to understand the beauty of the teachings of Islam, the importance of spiritual rectification, to choose Islam as a way of life and to embody the noble character of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam. We want our pupils to be selfless and willing to serve others. And we want them to achieve academic excellence.
We are aiming high and we request that in your supplications to Allah, you reserve a few moments for our humble effort and beseech the Almighty to grant us sincerity and strength to strive for that which is right.
The Governors are always keen to meet with members of the community, visitors or anyone else for that matter who wishes to seek further information or support the school.
If you would like to meet the governors, please do not hesitate to contact the School reception office to make an appointment. Insha’allah we will be more than willing to meet and discuss.
